What we do:

Johnson School Bus Service, Inc. is a full service student transportation company. We strive to provide for every transportation need our clients may have, including daily pupil service to and from school, special education busing, extra-curricular sporting events, class trips and local charter services.
Specialized Transport Services, a subsidiary, provides subsidized taxi service to West Bend & Port Washington.

Terminals are located in the following communities: Beaver Dam, Campbellsport, Cedar Grove, Fond du Lac, Horicon, Kewaskum, Menomonee Falls, Oakfield, Plymouth, Port Washington and Waupun, West Bend. We've been behind the wheel of our school buses for for more than 60 years!

At stake is the well-being of the students entrusted to our care, financial investment of the terminal and equipment, as well as the prosperity of our employees.
The key to our longevity and success is in forming a partnership with the schools and parents we serve, providing expert assistance and helping them make the difficult decisions that face educational systems today. This is accomplished by providing trained, responsive staff, well-maintained equipment, and underscoring our belief in the motto that Safety Is No Accident.

Our History:

Aaron W. Johnson founded Johnson School Bus Service in August 1942 when he converted a milk truck and two logging trucks into West Bend's first school buses. Today we have eleven terminal locations serving 14 school districts in southeastern Wisconsin. A total of 500 part-time and 50 full-time employees operate and maintain a fleet of 500 vehicles!
Now in its third generation of family leadership, Johnson Bus is one of the largest family owned and operated school bus companies in the State of Wisconsin.

We take great pride in transporting children to a higher education. A job that cannot be accomplished without our valued family of drivers.
